Opening of the new Audi Centre Bloemfontein
Audi South Africa is proud to announce the opening of the new Audi Centre Bloemfontein, which is the first Audi Terminal in the Free State and the second for owners, Imperial Group, who are also the proud owners of Audi Centre Sandton.
Audi Centre Bloemfontein has relocated across the road from their previous facility to the corner of Zastron and Wes Burger Streets in the heart of the Bloemfontein City. The new Terminal began trading on the 1st of April 2014 after a year of construction. The 1,040 square metre facility now features a new car showroom for 13 vehicles, 14 Pre-owned vehicles, 14 service workbays and 182 parking bays for customers.
As with all Audi Terminal buildings, Audi Centre Bloemfontein also sets the standard when it comes to eco-awareness and sustainability. It boasts solar e-thermal glazing and ceiling insulations, mechanical heating and cooling, water recycling wash bays, PV panels for electricity generation and rain water harvesting. The building also has a lightweight steel exoskeleton with integrated insulation for thermal resistance, and profiled cladding outside skins. This lends itself to quicker, less labour intensive construction, ultimately saving on construction costs, with a lighter roof construction.
“The new Audi Centre Bloemfontein Terminals plays an integral part in the hearts and minds of the premium customer in Bloemfontein, and I am confident that the Audi business in Bloemfontein will continue to grow with the move into this world class facility. Audi South Africa is grateful for the confidence displayed by the Imperial Group on opening their second Audi Terminal, and I have no doubt that it will deliver on the promise of superior customer delight in South Africa”, said Ryan Searle, Head of Audi South Africa.
