Improving the Premium Compact SUV - The all-new Audi Q3
Exciting and dynamic, the all-new Audi Q3 seeks to improve upon the premium compact SUV concept with greater performance, more equipment and a more aggressive design philosophy.
Even as Audi's most compact premium SUV, the Q3 has always been a top performer since launch in 2012. The new Audi Q3 builds upon this legacy of success with more configurability and a generous variety of standard assistance features while offering all-new design cues.
An Enhanced Character
The compact prowess of the Q3 chassis has been redesigned to combine agile handling with supreme safety. A redesigned front bumper is accentuated by sharper lines and a striking shape while the accompanying air inlets boast redesigned struts to enhance the overall athletic appearance for a more powerful presence on the road
Set wider while hugging the road closer, an entirely three-dimensionally styled singleframe grill creates a striking and sophisticated appearance. Standard Xenon plus headlights as well as optionally available LED headlights have both benefitted from the new redesign and have been shaped to represent their progressiveness. Wheel styling options include the addition of two brand new 18-inch wheel designs which join the vast array wheels sizes which range from 16 to 19 inches.
The rear diffuser further bolsters the powerful presence created by the redesigned rear bumper of the Audi Q3 and is available in full and contrasting paint finishes.
A Discerning Interior
Sleek lines and high quality materials feature within the cabin of the all-new Audi Q3 as the striking dynamic lines of the exterior continues throughout the similarly impressive interior.
The interior of this compact luxury SUV creates a discerning style with new inlays as well as a choice of cloth or leather variants in new colours. New aluminium-look elements, including air-vent thumbwheels, seat adjustment controls and inserts above the CD player enrich the interior ambiance while the MMI® navigation plus boasts more sophisticated visual technology. The all-new Audi Q3 further emphasizes this interior quality with a stylish, easy-to-read instrument cluster in white lettering amidst a black background.
Q3 owners can now enjoy an extended selection of customization options to create an exacting experience behind the wheel of a highly configurable vehicle where preference is paramount.
The generous list of standard equipment options included on the all-new Q3 has been extended with respect to driver assistance systems as well and includes secondary collision brake assist and active lane assist.
The Audi side assist illuminates a yellow LED indicator in the housing of the outside mirror if another vehicle is in the blind spot or is approaching rapidly from the rear. Video cameras allow Audi active lane assist to detect the lane markings as it gently intervenes in the steering to help the driver return to the lane.
Finally, Q3 is now available in two TFSI and one TDI engine options with a choice of either a six-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed S-tronic transmission, both of which offer front wheel drive.
The success of Audi’s most compact SUV continues in the updated Audi Q3 with an improved package even more exciting and dynamic than the original.
